I have always told people by the time main stream media reports on something its too late. Well they are talking of revolution.
A lot of folks who weren't are nervous! Talk of social security being broke even though politicians are saying its still in good shape is scary for many.
Economy is worse,unemployment is no better,job creation is not happening,health care hell who knows many are predicting it will be very expensive and care may be metered.
I hope you have food and water put away.I hope you armed.
A revolution will be an ugly thing even if it is needed!
At this point in time many many Americans see know other way,politics are politics Dem or Repub same ol same over spending pure waste.
I personally don't mind paying some taxes.But to see what I work so hard for wasted is maddening.
To have elected officials ignore or worse do the opposite of what the people want is maddening.
To have an elected rep say violent action by the people if they don't get what they want is brave and true,to have a party leader say this was an inappropriate comment is bullshit!
The founding fathers of this country always left armed overthrow of a Govt that taxed without representation,that violated the rights of its citizens,that worked out side of the Constitution.
This Country was founded on the blood of Patriots! Do I want to see the blood of my friends and family and fellow Patriots,NO,but when all else fails what is left?
Apparently this is what many feel are left as their only course of action.Is anyone in Washington listening?

ReplyDeleteHey there CHINA , SENDIT! here and I wanted to talk a bit about the meaning of "SEND IT" . That phrase is what a spotter will tell a sniper when the time is right to send the round down range .
I was goin over some older posts here and THREEPER did a great job discussing extreme long range shooting and the mindset required to make those shots . I agree 100% that anyone who considers themselves as skilled rifleman or a SNIPER , must have the ability to hit a target out past 600 to 800 meters and beyond, with regularity, meaning every time they attempt that shot.
Our battlefield however, will consist mainly of URBAN terrain and therefore , I want to begin a discussion on URBAN TERRAIN SNIPING also known as "close quarters combat precision fire". It is completely different in many ways to long range sniping and those differences need to be discussed in my opinion.
First , the weapon ......... I see you have a lovely zombie killer chambered in .223 A.K.A. MINI 14 RANCH RIFLE . Excellent choice for today's modern battlefield.That rifle will do you proud, especially if you have raised scope rings that will allow you to see your iron sites .
As much as I love the .223 , I am a .30 cal man and through my reading here , I see that you also own a dragunov or variation thereof , so , for that rifle I recommend an offset scope mount or raised rings to allow, once again , the ability to access the iron sites. Nothing worse then needing a short range weapon and only having a scope to work with .
Allowing for the iron sites to be used as well as the scope essentially makes 1 weapon into 2 weapons .Long range and close quarters. This was the reason I bought a DESERT TACTICAL from a friend over @ XE . It allows me both .308 caliber or a quick change of parts to .338 lapua magnum and it all comes in 1 rifle bag . This route is NOT financially sound for most . Even the .338 ammo is financial rape.
Anyways , I would like to go further into this for those who have questions or are interested in this notion. I will go further into HIDES and the newer ways of shooting from behind cover to remain concealed while sniping.
ALWAYS REMEMBER that no matter what I tell you here or what you train yourself for, everything will change once the first shot is fired at you . It's nice to have the knowledge but, once someone is returning fire , all bets are off . Let me know if you want to continue this conversation or if I can answer any specific questions regarding this application .

Please continue.With the untimely demise of our Buddy and R3V being injured we have gotten off course.I continue going over Threeper and R3V's old comments and stillfind new and useful info!I indeed have Mini ranch,Dragunov knock off 7.62x54r mossberg pump several others but these would my first considerations I recently got rid of my Ak will be picking up another asap.Never been huge fan of ar-15 but with ability to change calibers I have been studying up on this option! In my area 200 yds will be a long shot!Would appreciate any info you would share!

I don't have see thru mounts on mini I do have soviet side mount on dragonuv but crappy soviet scope will upgrade as soon as finances allow! Actually it is PSL 54-c with pso 1 scope.I have heard type 2 scope is better.As you know good optics are expensive.So much to do.So little time in a day.
